Meet in Bucharest’s Old Town for five Romanian wines, including two whites, a rosé, and two reds, paired with cheeses, salami, bread, spreads, and zacuscă. English and Romanian guides explain local grapes and winemaking. Darius and Marius have led tastings, though food service may need confirming at the start.

“I paid for the wine and food pairing but only received some cubes of cheese with crackers and no other food to pair with the wines. I didn't receive anything with the first wine so asked the sommelier about the pairings and he said he would bring the snacks later so they would last for all of the wines. As he brought the second wine he brought the cheese and crackers. That was the only food I received, not what was advertised when I booked it. I believe I got the experience that I would have received if I'd just booked the wine tasting rather than the food pairing experience…”

“We usually go on a "free" walking tour when we arrive in a new city. We were lucky that none was available on the days we were in Oradea because, as a result, we went on Calin's Food, Wine And Sightseeing Tour, which was fantastic value. Calin knows and loves Oradea and his enthusiasm for his city was infectious. We were given so much delicious food that we could not eat any dinner. We even enjoyed the tripe soup, which was the first time we had tasted tripe. Fantastic value!”
